We run four kinds of programme in our own kitchen and event space, and we also hire out the venue on its own. For each of them, our chefs, Ági and Ildikó, put together the menu — according to your wishes, of course.
In a restaurant, the team sits down and waits for the food. Here you get aprons and knives, and you prepare your own dinner together with our chef. The courses are made in small groups, and then you eat them together at the table laid for you. This is the team building you will still be talking about on Monday.

If you have your own cook, programme or trainer, we hire out the fully equipped kitchen and the event space — in the Buda Hills, with a garden of mature trees, for 10–45 people. Premium equipment (Zwilling, Staub, Demeyere), a spacious cooking island, a laid table.
One of the most special things about Kitchen Factory is its location: we are on Kis-Svábhegy, a few minutes from the finest spots in the Buda Hills. If you would like an unforgettable experience alongside the cooking or the dinner, we combine the two for you: the venue provides the programme, and we provide the culinary experience – before, during or after the programme.
A telescope session with an astronomer in the historic dome, 10–15 minutes from us. The programme goes ahead even when it is cloudy: then, too, they give you a talk and show you the dome and the telescopes. Bites before, dinner at our place afterwards – or we bring the bites up to you.
You can hire a separate carriage or even a special train on the Children's Railway (Széchenyi-hegy). During the journey we serve our catering menu in the carriage; if you would rather dine at our place, a laid table awaits you after the ride.
A special start with a BKV heritage vehicle, e.g. the old cog-wheel railway. Which vehicle is available on a given day, and on what terms, we arrange once you get in touch with a specific request; at the end of the journey, dinner awaits you at our place.
A walk or hike on Normafa and János-hegy, a ride on the Zugliget chairlift, a cave tour in the caves of the Buda Hills. At the end of the hike we meet you on the spot with a picnic basket or hot soup, or you have dinner at our place afterwards. If you like, we will also find a hiking guide for you.

Ildikó Gyaraki, Kitchen Factory's chef and head, has lived in the world of quality ingredients and professional gastronomy since childhood; since 2021 she has been cooking for our guests as a qualified cook, together with Ági. She feels at home in every kitchen, but her favourites are Spanish, Asian, Mexican, Italian and Middle Eastern flavours.

Artisan bites and drinks welcome you, with time to look around and get to know the place and us.
Agreed in advance; at the start we walk you through what's coming.
We do the tiring prep work, you get the spectacular parts. If you like, you can join the prep too. Usually 4–5 courses, about an hour and a half of cooking.

Kitchen Factory is a labour of love for us — and that's how we run it. We have worked here, with the same team, for more than ten years, and some partners have brought their company events and training sessions to us for over a decade. We aim to tailor every offer: even in the Christmas season the dishes change every day, and we take care of allergies, intolerances and special diets. We cook with the best fresh ingredients; vegetables and fruit come from small Hungarian farms wherever possible. We believe in quality, individuality and classic hospitality.

We host cooking events, chef's dinners and venue hire for 10–45 people. Around 15 people can cook at the counter at the same time; larger groups cook in rounds. For two, we offer a private chef's table with Ildi.
About 4 hours, and you are welcome to stay longer. We usually cook 4–5 courses; the cooking itself takes about an hour and a half, then you enjoy the menu together.
For chef-led events (cooking together, chef's dinner) the price includes the food, water, mineral water, lemonade and coffee. Alcoholic drinks are charged either by consumption or as a fixed per-person drinks package. We give the exact prices for these in our offer.
Hire of the kitchen and event space starts at HUF 100,000 + VAT (up to 15–20 people; higher in the December holiday season), plus cleaning at HUF 20,000 + VAT. Above 20 people we make an individual offer.
Yes: either cooking together (the team cooks with our chef) or a chef's dinner (the chef cooks while you watch and chat — but anyone who feels like it can join in the cooking), for 10–45 people. Popular December dates go quickly, so ask for an offer in good time!
